AN EXCLUSIVE HILLTOP RESIDENCE

Completed in 2020, this luxury stone villa offers accommodation for up to 10 guests across three floors. The villa has three double bedrooms plus an additional two separate living spaces with double sofa beds.

 

Alongside the open plan living space which includes full kitchen and dining area, the villa has four bathrooms, three with shower facilities. 

Tastefully decorated both inside and out, our Villa has been designed to offer all amenities our guests may need during their stay with private heated pool, garden, dining terrace and covered relaxation area all within the villa grounds.

Located on the outskirts of the traditional village of Maroulas we are surrounded by olive groves. The village itself has three tavernas with two additional located within 1 mile of the Villa. 

 

Towards the base of the hill you will find additional tavernas a bakery, butchers, and supermarket.

 

Within 1.5 miles of the villa you have the beachfront town of Platanes which has many more bakeries, coffee shops, supermarkets and dining options as well as local shops and beach front bars. 

 

The historic Venetian city of Rethymno is 5 miles away which hosts a beautiful harbour. The city offers year round facilities and has wonderful traditional streets longing to be explored offering lovely shopping & browsing as well as a wide selection of coffee shops, bars and restaurants.

The city is host to a local market every Thursday and parking and driving around is easy and accessible.

 

We suggest car hire here, the villa is perched on the side of a hill so walking down towards the beach is pleasant but walking up can be a killer for the legs!

 

Evenings at the Villa can be spent at local tavernas in the village, exploring the city or simply dining over the beautiful views at the villa. Local tavernas even offer to  prepare food for you to enjoy on the terrace here.

 

You can discover the south of the island within a 45 minute drive which offers some incredible and undeveloped beaches to spend lazy days by the sea.

The Villa is conveniently located approximately 1 hour from both Chania & Heraklion airports with regular flights from April -October.
